Louis Siegeler, also used an alias, (Louis Ziegler) He served in Co.L and Regments 4 and 9 in the N.Y. Calvery. He served from 9/08/1864 untill June 1865. he came here from Prussia and voluntered for the union army. he joined in Watertown,N.Y. Jefferson Co. He was a private.
